Prince William and Kate Middleton have been urged to follow in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s footsteps by turning their backs on royal life.
Graham Smith, the leader of the anti-monarchy group Republic, has asked the Prince and Princess of Wales, who remained steadfast an loyal to the Firm in all circumstances, to “follow a similar path to Harry and Meghan”.
Reacting to Smith’s claims, an insider said: “William and Kate will never turn their backs on their own people as the are very different from Harry and Meghan.
“They are not attention seekers. They believe in serving their people instead of using their royal cards for their personal gains.”
In talks with GB News, Smith asked the future King and and his wife Kate to get rid of the monarchy by taking a exemplary steps like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
