Namibia needed two runs on the final ball but David Wiese failed to get bat on ball. However, the wicketkeeper wasn’t able to grab the ball cleanly either as Wiese and Malan Kruger ran across and completed the run.

Jan Frylinck scored 45 runs in 48 balls with the help of six fours and was his team’s highest run scorer.

Mehran Khan, who also bowled the final over of the innings, registered superb figures of 3-7 in four overs for Oman.

In the super over, Namibia batted first and scored 21 runs with the help of 13 runs in four balls by Wiese.

After the disastrous start, Oman failed to recover and kept on losing wickets at regular intervals.

Trumpelmann was the pick of the bowlers for Namibia with figures of 4-21 in four overs.
