UP Board Class 10 topper felicitated by state government | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Yogi Adityanath government on Saturday felicitated class 10th state board topper Prachi Nigam.
Speaking about the steps taken by the UP government towards the education of children, Nigam said that the chief minister was dedicated to improving the quality of education in government schools, launching the ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ to ensure all children, especially those deprived of education, are enrolled without any child being left behind.
The 15-year-old had been trolled for appearance.

Yogi government also started direct transfers of Rs 1,200 in the bank accounts of parents/guardians in an effort to make education accessible to all.
“Today, the process of transferring an amount ₹ 1,200 per student through DBT in the bank account of their parents/guardians for purchasing dress, shoes, socks, stationery etc. to the students studying in schools under the Basic and Secondary Education Department was started from Lucknow”, UP CM said in a post on X.
Extending his “best wishes to all”, he added, “Also, I got the opportunity to honour brilliant students who made the state proud by achieving success through their hard work and talent, and the teachers and principals who shaped them.”
